On April 25, with spring in the air, colored banners spread in the wind and the beating of gongs and drums resounded beside the Yangtze River. The grand ceremony of delivery of car transport vessel1# of PCTC series with 3800 parking spots invested and manufactured by Anji Shipping Co., Ltd. under Anji Logistics and the entry of vessel 2#to berth was held in Jinling Factory District of Jiangsu. Leaders and guests from Anji Logistics, Anji Shipping, Changhang Heavy Industry, Jinling Shipyard, CCS, and CSSC together witnessed this great moment.
The PCTC car transport vessel with 3800 parking spots is 169m in length, and 28m in width, with above 16 knots of trial speed, 10 floors of vehicle deck, and a maximum load of 50 tons. 3800 sedans (RT43) can be loaded at a time. This vessel is characterized by large loading capacity, low oil consumption, strong cargoscompatibility, high degree of automation, and beautiful appearance. Besides, it is also equipped with unattended machinery space, energy-savingboss cap fins, LED illumination, low-pressure CO2 system, two-tier auto lift deck, visiodrive bridge, vessel-shore integrated smart management system, and energy efficiency online management system. It is China’s first smart car transport vessel, and also the first car transport vessel qualified for the CCS Greenship II classification additional marking in China. It represents China’s advanced level of independent R&D design, manufacturing, inspection and operation management of car transport vessel.
Today, the successfully realization of two important nodal points is a symbolization of another fruit of both parties’ concerted effort and cooperation in good faith, and lays a solid foundation for further deepening future cooperation. Meanwhile, with the 1# vessel with 3800 parking spotsdelivered and put into use, the fleet of Anji Logistics has reached the scale of 22 vessels.
