On the morning of July 24, the second clean energy ro-ro vessel invested in by SAIC Anji Logistics, and the world’s largest in terms of current loading capacity, was officially delivered. The 7600 RT dual-fuel ro-ro vessel (H2660) was named “SAIC Anji Splendor”.

"SAIC Anji Splendor" is a new type of LNG dual-fuel, low-carbon eco-friendly transport vessel with 7,600 RT. It aligns with ESG development concepts, being a mainstream ship type for international ocean shipping that can carry 7,600 international standard-sized passenger cars (RT43).

As the twin vessel to "SAIC Anji Sincerity", this vessel will also be deployed on the European route, boosting the route’s annual capacity by around 30,000 units of vehicles, thereby co-creating the "Twin Stars" of the European route.

Since 2022, SAIC Anji Logistics has successively ordered 12 self-owned ocean-going ro-ro vessels. The first 7600-1# vessel, the "SAIC Anji Sincerity", was delivered on January 17, 2024, and successfully completed its maiden voyage to Europe.

The company currently operates 7 self-operated routes, covering Western Europe, the Mediterranean region, as well as Mexico, South America (West), Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Since July, the European route essentially achieves a monthly schedule.

By the end of 2025, SAIC Anji Logistics expects to have a fleet of more than 20 ocean-going vessels, with 3-4 voyages per month in the European region, covering the Mediterranean, Southern Europe, Northwestern Europe, and the UK: 3 voyages per month to Mexico, 1-2 voyages per month to the Middle East, and 1-2 voyages per month to Australia. By the end of 2025, SAIC Anji Logistics expects its annual transport capacity to reach 600,000 units.

In addition to ro-ro vessels, SAIC Anji Logistics has also supplemented its services with containers and flat-rack containers, expanded collaboration on space allocation , jointly built routes, and actively participated in the international OEMs ocean-going business, gradually building international route operation capabilities.

In terms of "last mile" destination port distribution capability, SAIC Anji Logistics has established companies in Europe, the UK, Mexico, and Australia, comprehensively building an "ocean-going + backend" door-to-door full-chain service capability.

Highlight overview of "SAIC Anji Splendor"

Safer

To better support the overseas expansion of Chinese intelligent manufacturing, in addition to traditional fuel vehicles, the "SAIC Anji Splendor" is also equipped to carry electric new energy vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell and natural gas fuel vehicles, heavy trucks, trailers, and MAFIs, which can also transport designated hazardous goods. SAIC Anji Logistics has established the "Regulations for Ship Carriage of New Energy Vehicles" and the "Regulations for Ship Transport of Alternative Energy Vehicles", which strictly standardize the relevant operational requirements to ensure the safe departure of every new energy vehicle.

More Intelligent

This vessel meets the 2030 environmental and emission standards of developed countries and regions such as North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand, reducing carbon emissions by about 30%, embodying the ESG development philosophy. For example, a round trip to Europe is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 1,300 tons, equivalent to planting 500,000 trees. Additionally, through the rational and effective fuel tank configuration, fuel choices are more flexible, allowing it to travel one and a half times around the Earth on a full tank.

SAIC Anji Logistics will continue to work with partners with great sincerity and dedication.

Join forces to create a new chapter in the overseas expansion of Chinese intelligent manufacturing.
