On July 1, SAIC Anji Logistics held the "Completion Ceremony of the Anting Finished Vehicle Automated Three-Dimensional Warehouse Project and the Opening Ceremony of the New General Warehouse", marking the official opening of a finished vehicle automated three-dimensional warehouse that leads the country in automation level, total storage capacity, single warehouse capacity, and operational efficiency. It is also another energetic practice of SAIC Anji Logistics in actively developing new quality productive forces.
Attendees of the completion ceremony included Lu Zufang, Member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Director of Jiading District; Wu Bing, Vice President of SAIC Motor; Xiang Ping, Director of the Jiading District Economic Commission; Zhang Xiaohua, Director of the Jiading District Land Reserve Center; Yan Jianming, Party Secretary of Anting Town; Yu Jingmin, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing at SAIC Volkswagen; Jin Qi, General Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics; Chen Qianqian, Party Secretary, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairperson of the Trade Union at SAIC Anji Logistics; Shen Fei, Deputy General Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics; Pan Rongsheng, Executive Director of Logistics and Planning Control at SAIC Volkswagen; and Oliver Bronder, Head of Logistics at SVW.
Large Storage Capacity, High Land Utilization Rate
This is a 12-story fully intelligent horizontal motion mechanical multi-level garage, comprising 7,314 multi-level parking spaces and 2,060 flat parking spaces, totaling 9,374 spaces. Through scientific spatial planning, land use efficiency has been optimized, increasing the storage capacity by 80%.
Full Automation, Fast Vehicle Retrieval
Adopting a self-developed fully automatic control system and an integrated warehouse and distribution operation mode, the distribution paths for goods are optimized, reducing traffic jams and waiting time. The number of vehicles entering and exiting per hour has increased from 180 to 400. Operating 24/7 all year round, vehicle retrieval capacity is enhanced by 12 times while reducing operational staff by 50%. Automated parking, smart positioning, and information statistics are fully demonstrated throughout the entire process of parking and intelligent management.
More Flexible, Optimal Inventory Resource Allocation
As an intelligent logistics center, this multi-level warehouse can flexibly handle different customers' goods using strategies such as consolidation and multiple warehouse collecting. This enables centralized management and optimized allocation of inventory. Meanwhile, it meets the specific storage needs of heavy equipment and materials in the new energy sector.
More Stable, Safe and Reliable Equipment Operation
The electrical control system for parking equipment, the Warehouse Execution System (WES) system, and the customer business system all employ a unified communication interface protocol, ensuring real-time connection for vehicle handling tasks, completion reports, arrival reports, and equipment status reports. The elevators and transverse transfer carts use dual-loop control with speed and position loops, making equipment operation more steady, safe, and reliable.
More Environmentally Friendly, Full-Process Green Design
The project has considered new mediums features such as green environmental protection and digital intelligence from the initial design stage. The architectural design fully considered customized building materials, high assembly rates, and short construction cycles. Green techniques and materials have been extensively used in material selection and construction processes, fully meeting the requirements of green sponge cities.
It is not too much to say that the SAIC Anji Logistics Anting Automated Multi-level Vehicle Warehouse Project is not only a revolutionary project for fully automated parking garages but also a model of intelligent manufacturing and green building. It enhances land-use efficiency and provides valuable references and experiences for the future design and construction of similar intelligent logistics infrastructure in the industry. Moreover, the successful implementation of the project has also promoted the development of related technologies and the improvement of industry standards, having widespread social and economic impacts.
