In the afternoon on September 24, SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., Volkswagen China and FAW Logistics conducted strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Beijing, which is an important step in serving factories of main engine and parts invested by Volkswagen and other Chinese clients with tool sharing management. SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd. expects to carve out a new career in the field of supply chain management.
Witnessed by Zu Sijie (Vice President and Chief Engineer of SAIC Motor), Liu Yunfeng (Executive Vice-president of Volkswagen China) and Wang Guoqiang (Deputy Secretary of CPC of FAW Group), the MOU was jointly signed by Wang Zemin (General Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd.), Ingle and Michael Thorsten Baecker (Executive Vice-presidents of Volkswagen China) and Qiu Feng (President of FAW Logistics). A group photo is taken to mark the occasion. Shen Fei, Vice-general Manager of SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., was present in the ceremony.
This year is the opening of the 14th five-year plan, throughout which is the new development view centering on innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing. Currently, the automotive industry is confronted with critical juncture of development, green and smart technology will certainly be new driving force of high quality development. SAIC Motor published the new vision and mission to lead green technology and pursue wonderful trip in an effort to achieve carbon peaking before 2025.
In May 2021, Volkswagen China launched the joint venture project of Chinese tool management to promote tool sharing management service, raise efficiency of supply chain and reduce carbon emission. SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., as one of participants, intends to share experience in automotive logistics with partners over the past three decades and leverage the role of the third party. Centering on user, Anji Logistics aims to obtain resource sharing and low-carbon development. Relying on smart network platform, concerted efforts are made to ensure successful project implementation and goal attainment.
